An overgrown sloping bank just by the entrance to the property, was transformed by combining ornamental plants with an old plough. The plough links the garden to the land it worked when it was being farmed. Native purple Foxglove, Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple', yellow carpet rose 'Loredo' and Stipa tenuissima 'Ponytails' create a simple colour combination with a multitude of shapes and textures.
