A new contemporary house in the open countryside allowed me to focus the view from the patio onto the surrounding fields.

A generous main patio with built-in seating can accommodate plenty of guests to dine and relax. Additionally, the pergola that covers the patio and the seating's integrated lighting make an entertainment space for much more than just hot summer days.

To meet the client's requirement for a seated space with a water feature, I designed circular-shaped built-in seating around the water bowl. Surrounded by planting it is an oasis of calm which also offers an alternative view of the garden and countryside.

The large play lawn at the front of the house and the kids' playground at the far end of the garden utilise the space of this garden to the maximum.
