The symmetrical front garden allowed for a classical design with a simple palette in shades of green and white to create a timeless colour display. The client requested a garden design which would allow for varied family usage, and I used patio detail and large pots to define three areas – an outdoor dining area, a space for relaxation by the fire-pit, and a kids’ play area.

I chose to make the rest of the rear garden an informal and peaceful space, with randomly placed trees and a Wisteria-covered arbour from which to enjoy the surrounding countryside
